One of the most useful modes of the MemoWord app is the “Learn on the Go” mode!
It is this feature that will allow you to dramatically increase the amount of time you dedicate to the language and memorizing vocabulary! What could be easier — just start playing the words you need in the background while you go for a walk, cook dinner, or clean the house. Not to mention the ability to learn vocabulary while spending hours in traffic jams behind the wheel!
So, meet the “Learn on the Go” mode (Autoplay or Hands-free).
Set your preferences for:
- the order of speaking words in your native and target language,
- the number of repetitions for the word and its translation,
- the desired sorting order,
- the pause, to try and recall the translation on your own,
And voilà — use every minute of your day to make progress in learning a foreign language!
Generally, it’s all intuitive, but if you have doubts — there’s a help section at the top of the window that explains all the settings in detail.
Besides just listening, this mode also lets you see the spoken words on the screen in large print!
Double the power! Why the “large print” feature is a game-changer.
While the mode is called “Hands-free,” don’t underestimate the power of the large visual display mentioned earlier. This feature brilliantly combines auditory and visual learning styles (dual coding).
Try this: Place your phone on the kitchen counter or on your car’s dashboard (mounted safely, of course!). As you listen to the word being pronounced, glance at the screen. Seeing the spelling with perfect pronunciation in real-time helps you avoid the common mistake of mishearing or mispronouncing a word later.
This is particularly useful for languages like French or English, where spelling and pronunciation often don’t match. By connecting the sound to the text instantly, you build a stronger, more accurate memory of the word.
How to start?
Download an interesting card set from our collection.

Listen to the set on repeat in the background!
You’ll be surprised at how quickly you remember all the tricky constructions and start using them easily in conversation!
Try it! You’ll love it!
